About us
The Finnish brain tumor research association (FiBTRA) aims at increasing networking and interaction among researchers and clinicians working with brain tumors to improve our understanding of these diseases and to enhance the development of better diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients suffering from them. The association was founded in March 4th, 2015 in Tampere.
FiBTRA organizes meetings and annual symposiums for brain tumor researchers, clinicians, and other specialists. The association also provides a platform for networking and distribution of information. The purpose of the association is also to support brain tumor research and implementation of cutting-edge procedures for patient management.
Anyone with a professional interest in brain tumors is welcome to join the association.
